Week 2 in the BBF league gave Natural Motion the biggest challenge of the series. Up to this point in Road To Backbreaker, it has been a smooth ride for the football team. Natural Motion has only lost one regular season game up to this point and that was back in division 3.
Against the Scorpions, Natural Motion not only proved they can compete in division 1, they also showed they can come from behind a win a football game. This way by far the best game of the series!!! The Scorpions jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the 1st quarter before Natural Motion finally woke up.
The Most Exciting 1st Quarter In Football
Scorpions quarterback Ray Cardenas threw a 71 yard touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage to wide receiver Jarred Fletcher to give the Scorpions a 7-0 lead. On Natural Motion’s first possession, Kylan Hedges threw an interception that was returned inside the 10 yard line to setup another touchdown pass from Cardenas to wide receiver Manuel Allison.
If that wasn’t enough for you, the Scorpions followed up their 14-0 lead with a blocked punt that setup a field goal to increase the lead to 17-0. Natural Motion was on the verge of being blown out, but still overcame all of this pressure late in the 1st quarter.
