The Natural Motion Backbreakers takes on the league. ROAD TO BACKBREAKER has 3 divisions all of which represent a difficulty level. In division 3, Natural Motion went 6-1 and won the division 3 all-star game against the Charge Pro All-Stars. Their only loss came to the Portland Tomahawks in week 3, where they loss 12-11 partially due to a bad roughing the punter call by the referee which ended the game.
Natural Motion struggled to protect all 3 of their quarterbacks in division 3. Despite the lack of protection, Natural Motion was able to establish the deep passing game to go along with their league leading rushing attack. Offensive MVP Darius Anderson rushed for over 1,400 yards along with 30 touchdowns and never fumbled once. Anderson was the heart and soul of the offense. Without him, Natural Motion would not have generated any offense at all.
DEFENSIVE MVP Isaiah Hippard had 11 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery and 3 defensive touchdowns. Behind him, the most impactful player was Rodrick Moore. Moore had 36 tackles, racked up 13 sacks, and forced 3 fumbles. As a team, Natural Motion had the #1 defense in the league. Their defense had 45 sacks, 41 interceptions, 7 forced fumbles, 1 blocked field goal, 3 blocked punts, and 11 defensive touchdowns.
Natural Motion started off division 2 with their first free agent signing of quarterback Kylan Hedges. Hedges got off to a red hot start and then went on a terrible cold streak. He was very inconsistent throughout the entire season, but the team always had their defense and running game to fall back on. In division 2, Natural Motion went a perfect 15-0, but got their asses kicked against the United Pro All-Star Team.
Starting quarterback Kylan Hedges was a terrible passer, but his running made up for most of that. Hedges only completed 47% of his passes and barely threw over 1,000 yards. He had 17 touchdown passes, but threw 15 interceptions. On the ground, Kylan ran for 916 yards and scored 5 touchdowns.
The offensive line once again failed to protect the quarterback. Natural Motion gave up 128 sacks in division 2 and still managed to become the best team in the league.
Slot wide receiver, Cayden Ashmore came on real strong in division 2. Ashmore was the only dependable receiver for most of the season, catching 30 passes for 761 yards and 11 touchdowns.
OFFENSIVE MVP Darius Anderson rushed for over 1,000 yards again and scored 27 rushing touchdowns. To be exact, Anderson had 1,080 yards. His season was cut short, because the team needed to work on their passing game heading into division 1. Darius Anderson didn’t carry the ball in the final 5 games of the season, so he could have had a monster season.
DEFENSIVE MVP Ryan Hahn had a close race with former MVP Isaiah Hippard. Both players had 12 interceptions, but Hahn led the team in tackles with 85. Ryan Hahn scored 2 defensive touchdowns to go along with his 12 interceptions. Rodrick Moore had another standout season with 68 tackles and 24 sacks.
As a team, Natural Motion was #1 again with 74 sacks, 23 forced fumbles, 51 interceptions, and 10 defensive touchdowns.
